2nd Annual Midwest Black History Expo

Come celebrate at the largest Black History Month event in Minnesota! The Midwest Black History Expo will take place on Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The event will include:
•  Nationally known keynote speaker Professor Robert Hill of UCLA
•  African American Inventions and Inventors exhibit
•  Black History Documentary & Discussion Room
•  Seminar Room
•  Children's Room
•  Art Competition
•  Up to 200 Vendors and Exhibitors
•  Fashion Show
•  Performers
•  College Fair

Who Should Attend:
This event is open to the general public. Everyone and their entire family are encouraged to attend. Our goal is to teach cultural awareness and to inspire everyone. This goal will be reached by sharing the often forgotten and untold stories about Black History around the world. If you are interested in learning about Black History, Black culture, and various Afro-centric products, this is the place for you. Attendees will also learn about various services offered by organizations serving the Black community. Educators, adults, parents, and students, this is the event that you don’t want to miss.

Tickets can be purchased now at Ticketmaster in advance or at the Saint Paul RiverCentre Box Office on the day of the event.
