Based on true events, this drama recreates the famous 1924 trial in which renowned attorney Clarence Darrow defended Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb, lovers and partners-in-crime who confessed to the kidnapping and murder of a 14-year-old Chicago boy. The trial captivated and shocked the nation, as the self-described Nietzschean supermen pled guilty but claimed to be victims of a flawed system. Part crime drama and part love story, Never the Sinner is a compelling and profound study of human nature.
