Children 12-and-younger Ski Free on Dec. 21
(Keystone, Colo.) Dec. 2, 2014 --- Keystone Resort today announced its Kids Ski Free program will travel east to Minnesota’s Afton Alps for a one-day special event on Sunday, Dec. 21. Just ahead of the holiday season, Keystone will provide a complimentary daily lift ticket for any child 12-and-younger visiting Afton Alps. Similar to Keystone’s Kids Ski Free program, which is available at the Colorado resort every day, all season, the Afton Alps promotion will feature no red tape, fine print or hoops to jump through.
The free lift tickets for children 12-and-younger will be available at Afton Alps’ Guest Services office starting Tuesday, Dec. 2, with no purchase necessary and no limit to the number of free tickets per family. Children must be accompanied at the ticket window by an adult providing a valid email address in order to receive the free ticket(s). Tickets can be picked up at the ski area any day between Dec. 2-21 during normal operating hours. Visit AftonAlps.com/Kids for more information.
Nestled in the scenic St. Croix River Valley just outside Minneapolis and St. Paul, Afton Alps boasts nearly 300 skiable acres with 50 trails, making it the premier winter destination in the Midwest for more than 50 years.
To make hitting the slopes even easier for skiers and snowboarders this year, Afton Alps introduced EpicDay Lift Tickets, an online and mobile platform for purchasing daily lift tickets. By using EpicDay, skiers will not only get the lowest price guaranteed on daily lift tickets, they will also have the convenience of skipping the ticket line and spending more time on their favorite trails. Once a guest has purchased an EpicDay Lift Ticket at any Vail Resorts mountain, or if they still have their hard card lift ticket from last year, they can reload it with more days online and go directly to the lifts, never having to wait in a ticket line again. Guests can purchase EpicDay Lift Tickets at AftonAlps.com/EpicDay
