Magnificent Magnificat

For most 13-year-olds, it's an achievement to finish their homework, let alone compose a masterpiece for choir, full orchestra and soloists. But of course, Felix Mendelssohn wasn't your average teenager -- he was a die-hard fan of Bach, a virtuosic pianist and an out-and-out genius. Now Exultate Chamber Choir performs Mendelssohn's Magnificat, his brilliant, rarely performed early work.
