Sale to Feature 9,000 Items and a New Beer & Wine Festival
WHAT: Afton Alps is hosting its annual Fall Fair, one of the Midwest’s largest ski and snowboard swaps. Skiers and snowboarders can sell their current gear and upgrade their equipment for the 2014-2015 season.
The sale will feature approximately 9,000 new and used winter sports items, such as skis, snowboards, poles, boots, goggles, helmets and clothing – not to mention some great deals on Afton Alps Ski and Ride School programs and season passes, including the Epic Pass (unlimited access to 11 Vail Resorts’ properties across the U.S.).
New this year– Afton Alps Fall Fair visitors can enjoy a free slopeside movie at dusk on Friday, Oct. 3 and Oct. 10. On Saturday, Oct. 11, there will be a beer and wine festival. For $15, fairgoers can sample nine wines and 13 beers, plus bring home a special commemorative glass.
In addition to these new events, there will also be free chair lift rides and hayrides, an inflatable jump house, a candy hunt in hay, pumpkin painting, music and refreshments on Saturdays and Sundays during the Fall Fair.
