This event will focus on the global rise of hate against targeted religious groups amidst this backdrop of anti-Semitism in Europe. We will highlight the following conflicts:
- In Asia, growing violence against Rohingya Muslims and Karen Christians perpetrated by ethnic Burmese Buddhists;
- In Africa, increasing clashes between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria, Mali, and Central African Republic;
- In the Middle East, atrocities perpetrated by ISIS against other Muslims and Christians and calls for the extermination of all western nations, especially the United States.
Open to the public, no reservations necessary.
$10 general public, $5 students and seniors, free to Mitchell students.
$35 2 standard CLE credits (pending), $35 2 POST credits (pending), 2 clock hours for educators.
