There is one big thing that makes Fringe different from any other event in town:
All the shows you’ll see at Fringe were selected randomly.
Yep. That’s right. Each year we select our lineup by placing numbered ping-pong balls into a bingo cage and pulling them out, one by one.
We believe everyone has the capability to make great art, and, more importantly, everyone should get their chance to try. From stage veterans to people who are brand new to theater, Minnesota Fringe is a forum for anyone with a story to tell and provides the support to make producing a show as easy as possible.
