Yearning…  It’s a powerful word and even more powerful feeling, and it courses throughout The Conditions of Love, a well-received novel with strong Midwestern roots.  It’s also what author Dale M. Kushner will talk about when she joins Twin Cities-based author Therese Stanton for a discussion and readings at Common Good Books.

Kushner and Stanton will also discuss their individual approaches to the writing process, and invite audience comments, in this special free event.

Therese Stanton was awarded the 2014 Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Award for her novel All Songs Singing, and she has received many other awards, including a Special Mention for the 2013 Pushcart Prize.

Dale Kushner’s debut novel, The Conditions of Love, has been well-received  across the country.  The Wisconsin-based author was previously best known as a poet. Her most recent poetry collection is More Alive Than Lions Roaring and her work has been widely published in literary journals including IMAGE, Poetry, Prairie Schooner, Salmagundi, Witness and Fifth Wednesday.
