Winners of the 2012 Latin Grammy for Best Classical recording, Cuarteto Latinoamericano brings their latest program, Latin Panorama, to Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church. Known throughout the world as Latin America's ambassadors of classical music, the Mexican-based string quartet will perform an array of music from Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica and Argentina. The quartet has been performing together for more than three decades and has recorded more than 50 CDs. They have also introduced more than 100 works written especially for them. This concert is designed to appeal to listeners of all ages and is part of The Schubert Club's family concerts series, which aims to entertain and teach children about music through interactive shows.
