Join the Mississippi River Fund for this family-friendly event at the Mississippi River Visitor Center, located in the lobby of The Science Museum. Junior Ranger Day is a great opportunity for the entire family to get in touch with Minnesota’s very own Mississippi River. Junior Ranger Day is a part of National Parks Week. Children of all ages are encouraged to participate.
At Junior Ranger Day, kids will earn a Junior Ranger badge, do free and fun activities, and learn about raptors and how birds adapt. The Raptor Center will have a one-hour program starting at 1 PM. No reservations are needed for this event; just show up if interested. Activities will happen inside. The Mississippi River Visitor Center is free, but there is a charge for Science Museum parking.
