Saint Paul City Ballet (SPCB), the budding dance company with a unique artist-led model, presents its contemporary mixed-repertoire program April 10-13. Peter Davison’s Commedia dell’Arte inspired ballet, Bella Luna, will highlight the program. The night also includes world premieres by four emerging female choreographers.
Bella Luna tells the story of friendship and love between classes. A score featuring artists such as Yann Tiersen will accompany classically based choreography that showcases the honesty and vulnerability of the characters. The ballet makes its premiere in the Twin Cities under the artistic direction of Zoé Emilie Henrot.
